Vairocana is the primordial Buddha, considered the embodiment of emptiness. Vairocana represents the embodiment of Dharmakaya, “truth body” or form. He is one of the Dhayani Buddhas, or wisdom Buddhas, that represent the five qualities of the Buddha. These are all aspects of the Dharmakaya or “reality-body” which embodies the principle of enlightenment.
