Policies
All descriptions and sizes are approximate. Actual sizes, colors, and styles may vary from the photos and descriptions on this site. Photos are representative of each item, but may not be of the actual item currently available.
All prices are in US dollars. All items are subject to previous sale. Prices and policies for this website are effective January 2013 and are subject to change without notice.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
All orders must be prepaid. We accept credit cards, US bank or personal checks, and postal money orders. Additional fees apply for international bank checks and transfers. We do not accept COD orders. There is a $35 charge for returned checks. North Carolina sales tax will be added when applicable.
SHIPPING:
Processing times are 3-5 business days. Processing times do not include Shipping time. Processing time means that your order will be packaged and sent to the post office within 3-5 BUSINESS days after it is placed. We are closed on the weekends and on Tuesdays. We ship USPS priority, which USUALLY take 3-7 days to arrive depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays in shipping times after the package has been handed over to the post office.
Shipping and handling charges are extra, and are based on the weight, size, and method of shipment. Larger and/or heavier orders are sent via UPS unless otherwise requested. Smaller packages are usually sent via priority mail. International orders require additional shipping fees and are usually sent via insured air mail. It may not be possible to insure some international orders. The customer is responsible for all customs duties, VAT charges, and similar fees, where applicable. There is an extra charge for special handling. Please contact us with special requests and for more information. Packages are only insured with the automatic insurance provided by USPS shipping services, if you wish to insure your package at a higher cost than the standard USPS you need to make a special request as the cost of insurance depends on the amount being insured and this will change the cost of shipping.
We are responsible for your new purchase until it reaches the Post Office. After that, it is out of our control, ownership of packages turned over to USPS transfers to the buyer. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from USPS along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by USPS.
In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH USPS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES DURING TRANSIT. Once we turn over the package to the post office it is out of our control.
Please make sure your address is correct before placing order we will not be responsible for incorrect addresses.
INSURANCE AND DAMAGES:
We urge all buyers to purchase insurance to cover loss or damage to your order. On orders with insurance if you receive an item that has been damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately. Save ALL packing materials and paperwork. If you notice external damage to the package at the time of delivery, alert the delivery person at that time, and, if possible, have them verify this damage in writing. It will be necessary for you to submit a claim to the shipper of your items.
RETURNS:
Returns will only be accepted and credit given or money refunded if ALL of the following conditions are met:
1. Items must be in original condition as shipped.
2. Notification of your intention to make a return must be received by us within seven calendar days of delivery of the item(s).
3. Returned item(s) must be received by us within fourteen days of the date the item was delivered.
4. Customer is financially responsible for all shipping and handling charges connected with the item, and assumes full responsibility for its safe return. We suggest careful packing and insurance as the minimum precaution.
5. An appropriate restocking charge of 15 to 50 percent may be applicable.
6. Please provide a tracking number.

WHOLESALE:
Discounted wholesale prices are available to approved retail businesses and Dharma center retail stores only when items are purchased for resale. Please contact us for more information. All wholesale buyers must have on file at Tibetan Spirit the appropriate resale certificate.
