Sādhana of Achi Chökyi Drolma
This sādhana is dedicated to the uncommon Drikung Kagyu dharmapāla Achi Chökyi Drölma who was historically the paternal great-grandmother of Kyobpa Jikten Sumgön (1143-1217), founder of Drikung Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. In Drikung Kagyu sources, Achi Chökyi Drölma is recognized as the emanation of Vajravārāhī and thus a fully-awakened dharmapala. In this practice, one first self-generates as Vajravārāhī and recites the heart-mantra of Vajravārāhī followed by front-generation of Achi Chökyi Drölma - the recitation of her mantra, followed by the offering of praise and visualized and actual material offerings.
