Tomra (Chod Visor) With Beads

The tomra is a type of visor/hat used during Chod practice & sur-offering covering the practitioner eyes without impeding their vision. More importantly, this is said to make the practitioner less threatening to the ghosts and spirits that they are inviting to the offering as it is believed that highly spiritual persons have a “brightness” that emanates from the forehead region that intimidates lower entities.

  • black silky brocade
  • adustable velcro closure
  • polycotton strings

Ultra nice quality

Lovely, totally recommended! I thought it would be uncomfortable to use but it feels very balance while wearing it and the actual details of the white beads, the silky brocade, the strings and all together it looks far from something that can be done on your own.
