This original, hand-painted thangka features Vajrasattva (Tib. Dorje Sempa), the supreme deity of purification in the Vajrayana tradition. Revered as the "Lord of the Mandalas," Vajrasattva unifies the hundred peaceful and wrathful deities that manifest during the bardo, guiding practitioners toward liberation through the purification of obscurations. His presence is a vital support for any serious practitioner engaging in the Vajrayana path.

Symbolism & Meaning

Vajrasattva embodies the essence of the pure, primordial mind free of defilements. His luminous white form, holding a vajra and bell, represents the inseparability of method and wisdom. Through meditating on him and reciting his mantra, practitioners purify karmic imprints, mental obscurations, and habitual tendencies—establishing a basis for realization.

This is my 4th Tangka from TS. As always beautifully painted, gorgeous embroidery and so beautiful that I asked Lama Rigzin to come to my home to hang it.
