Prayer flags are traditionally used in Tibet, Bhutan and across the Himalayan region as a special way to make prayers of well-being, goodness, temporal and spiritual growth and peace for oneself and the world.
This bundle of prayer flags has the image of Sitatapatra or the White Umbrella Tara. Her special activity is to repel negativities that others might be directing at us in the form of ill-will, curses, spells, dark magic, and gossips. Other than her heart-mantra, this flag includes a powerful “repelling practice” of Sitatapatra turns back all harm directed at us.
Our prayer flags are made by a sincere, Tibetan, Drikung dharma-practicing mother-and-daughters team living in Kathmandu, Nepal. The sides of the flags have been hemmed, which helps the flag last longer against the elements, preventing fraying.
