Coral is a prized material for malas in the Tibetan/Himalayan Buddhist tradition. It is associated with the Lotus Family of Amitabha and thus related to the purification and transformation of desire and attachment to the wisdom of discernment. 

As traditional red coral is very rare now and environmentally irresponsible to harvest, we offer these color-enhanced coral mala. This is the highest quality coral we have been able to obtain in years.
