One of the most famous group of manifestations of Padmasambhava is the "8 Manifestations of Padmasambhava." In this group is a form known as Senge Dradok ("Lion's Roar"). Padmasambhava manifested this wrathful form when he challenged and defeated five hundred upholders of wrong views in debate at Bodhgaya. It is said that he reversed their magic with the aid of a wrathful mantra given him by the lion-faced dakini Marajita.
