This is a exceptional quality resin kangling used in Chod practice. Originally kanglings were made from human thigh bones. Although these are sometimes still available for purchase in Bhutan, Nepal and India, it is often unclear how they have been responsibly sourced. Increasingly many lamas have suggested that wooden and resin kanglings be used instead.
This kangling looks, feels and sounds like a genuine bone kangling. It is especially easy to use compared to bone or wood kanglings.
