Guru Drakpo

Guru Drakpo

Guru Drakpo is a wrathful manifestation of Padamsambhava. There are many terma lineages of this wrathful form of Padmasambhava. He is extremely fierce in demeanor, red in color, and having the bodily form of a yaksha. His right hand holds upraised a black vajra, while his left has a nine-headed black scorpion. Adorned with a crown, earrings, bracelets and necklaces of gold and snakes, he wears a garland of heads and an elephant skin draped across the shoulders. A tiger skin covers the lower body. With the right leg bent and left extended atop a seat of two prone figures, a sun disc, and a multi-coloured lotus, he stands surrounded by the orange flames of pristine awareness.
This is the only thangka of Guru Drakpo that Yedor was able to get in his last trip to Bhutan. Don't miss out!
