Tibetan Spirit has been a trusted source for authentic, handmade Tibetan ritual items and Himalayan imports for over 40 years.

For over 10 years, we have been guided by the vision of Dorje Lopön Dr. Hun Lye—spiritual leader, teacher, and longtime steward of Tibetan Spirit.

Our offerings continue under the care of his students and the Urban Dharma sangha in Asheville, NC., motivated by the desire to provide opportunities for right livelihood and support Nepalese and Malaysian artisans. 

Our team

Open Monday-Friday 10-4 ET, Asheville NC, we are operated by a dedicated community of Drikung Kagyu practitioners in Asheville, NC, and a small team in Khatmandu that works dirctly with the artisans and manufacturers.

Our mission is to support Dharma practice and spirtual wellbeing with the kind of high-quality stuff that we love coming home with, and providing a bridge for western practitioners with traditional artisans capable of providing the highest quality, iconographically acurrate meditation & ritual items at a reasonable price
