Plain White Katag - 7’

Katags (khatas) are ceremonial scarves offered to one’s teachers or anyone who is being honored. It is said that offering katags is  the Tibetan adaptation of the Indian tradition of offering flower garlands. Since sourcing flowers large enough to make garlands are near impossible in most parts of Tibet, flower garlands have been replaced by silk scarves woven with auspicious symbols.
  • white, sheer katag
  • adorned with precious symbols.
  • 7’ in length

White katags

I recently purchased two katags. They're lovely and came packaged so they stay neat and clean until I'm ready to offer them.
