Buddha Shakyamuni Prayer Flags - 100% Cotton
Prayer flags are traditionally used in Tibet, Bhutan and across the Himalayan region as a special way to make prayers of well-being, goodness, temporal and spiritual growth and peace for oneself and the world.
This prayer flag was specially designed for Tibetan Spirit customers by our lama. It contains an image of Buddha Shakyamuni in the middle surrounded by the following prayers in both Tibetan & English (our only prayer flag with English on it!):
Through skilful means and compassion,
You were born in the Śākya clan.
Utterly invincible, you overcame the forces of Māra. Your form resplendent like a mountain of burnished gold.
King of the Śākyas, at your feet I bow!
