Probably our most unique mala! You will NOT be disappointed. This is a rare find that Dr. Lye brought back from Indonesia during a pligirimage and retreat program that he led to Cambodia and Indonesia in Feb 2019. After visiting Mendut Temple in the Borobudur area in Java (Indonesia), he saw these for sale by a street vendor and immediately recognized that this is something special! 

This mala is made with beautiful copal amber beads. The beads range in color from a deep amber brown to light honey/blonde yellow. Very light! All the beads have a beautiful sheen and some of them have translucent spots. The beads also have a distinctive pine resin aroma.
